This remarkable example of Bolshevist justice recalls a case which" occurred near Liskj, m South Russ'a, m 1919. A woman laid a complaint against a cow for having eaten some washing which she had hung out to. dry. The trial lasted for several days, but before sentence could be passed General Denikin's troops carried the village and the cdurt adjourned m a hurry.
